Fieldtripping

I feel as though I got some nice shots from our field trip on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the digital camera pooped out on me early into the day, so I used my Pentax for almost the entirety of the trip. Regardless, I like the images I got and was especially happy to be able to take a few shots of people.

Fotoz

I'm becoming more and more interested in photography. I know I could never do it professionally but I really enjoy taking photos of people and things I find interesting. I'm looking forward to our fieldtrip this Wednesday. I'll bring the digital one from the art room and my old Pentax too and use them both. I like my Pentax much more than the digital one because of the way the photos develop, but I hate the fact that all photos I take after about 6pm at night turn out so grainy that you can't tell what's going on. This is especially hard because I love working with interesting lighting. It's really frustrating. I'm experimenting with the digital camera, and I want to figure out how to capture subjects in the dark. Using flash ruins all interesting lighting when it's dark, but when I don't use the flash, the camera won't capture anything at all. Ugh. Regardless, I'm still excited for our fieldtrip, though I wish I could bring people since I enjoy taking photos of people much more than landscapes.

A photo I took this weekend of my pal Devon:
